AstroAlkemy Terms of Service

1. Data Controller

AstroAlkemy ("the Service") is operated by Andrea Simoncini, sole proprietor, VAT number 02275470223, based at Via Battindarno 31, 40133 Bologna (Italy). Contact: [email protected].

Using the Service implies acceptance of these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

AstroAlkemy is an application that, starting from the birth data entered (date, time, place, sex), calculates the traditional astrological natal chart and the "alchemical chart" according to the method of Giorgio Sangiorgio, and generates textual interpretations and a PDF document.

The content is provided for cultural, entertainment and personal growth purposes. It does not constitute medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, nor guaranteed predictions of the future. Decisions made by the User remain the User's sole responsibility.

3. Account

  • Registration takes place via email/password or Google account.
  • The User guarantees the accuracy of the data provided and safeguards their own credentials.
  • The Service is intended for adults; purchases require the User to be of legal age.
  • The Controller may suspend or close accounts in case of breach of these Terms.

4. Access tiers and payments

The Service offers a free tier (Free), one-off purchases for a single Chart (Unlock) and a subscription (Premium). Prices, content, renewals and the right of withdrawal are governed by the Terms of Sale.

5. Content entered by the User

The User may enter the birth data of other people ("Persons") for analysis. By entering such data, the User declares to have the right to process it and to have informed the data subjects where required. The Controller processes such data on behalf of the User solely to provide the Service (see the Privacy Policy).

6. Acceptable use

It is prohibited to: resell or redistribute the content, perform scraping or unauthorized automated access, decompile or attempt to circumvent access limits (paywall), or use the Service for unlawful purposes or purposes that harm third parties.

7. Intellectual property

The software, the "AstroAlkemy" trademark, the graphics and the interpretive corpus are protected and remain the property of the Controller or the respective authors. The User is granted a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the Service. Data on Persons entered by the User remains the User's property.

8. Availability and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". The Controller does not guarantee the absence of interruptions or errors and, to the extent permitted by law, is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability towards consumers that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes

The Controller may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated. Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For consumers, the competent court is that of their place of residence/domicile; in all other cases, the court of Bologna has jurisdiction.
