Lilith and Chiron
Lilith is the mean lunar apogee: the point on the Moon's orbit where it sits furthest from the Earth, not a celestial body. Chiron is an actual body, a centaur found in 1977 orbiting between Saturn and Uranus, too large for an asteroid and too small for a planet.
Charts treat them separately from the planets, and not because they count for less. The ten planets describe functions anyone can recognise in daily life. Lilith and Chiron speak about absence and injury instead, material that is more delicate to handle and easier to overstate. Both call for care: they point to a tendency rather than a fate, and the sources themselves present them as one more focus, never as the key that explains a whole chart.
That is why they are better left until later. Once the planets, signs, houses and aspects are familiar, a point describing a gap or a scar settles into a wider picture instead of becoming the explanation for everything.
